Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan has visited the Makinsk Poultry Farm

On February 14th representatives of Ministries and Agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to Akmola region on various matters of real economy recovery and business development.

Mr. Yerbolat Dossayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, learned about ongoing activities and further development plans of the Makinsk Poultry Farm (MPF). After that, the Deputy Prime Minister gave a number of instructions to officials of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of National Economy and Ministry of Agriculture to ensure proper support to the anchor enterprises, such as, MPF, in respect of providing funds for the generation of the infrastructure.

The year of 2018 was marked with the launch of the first line of the Poultry Farm with the capacity of 25 000 tons. In 2020, it is planned to bring into operation the second line with the same capacity, thus making the enterprise the largest one within the territory of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Once the second line is launched, overall production capacities of the Poultry Farm will make it possible to satisfy up to 15 % of the Kazakhstani market demand in chicken (in 2017 national consumption of chicken arrived at 341 000 tons), which, in its turn, will lead to the reduction of import to 32.6% against the current level of 50.4%.
