During the national teleconference, a new giant of the country’s agro-industrial complex – Makinsk Poultry Farm LLP – was represented to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The project was presented by Serik Tolukpayev, the General Director of Aitas KZ, and Malik Murzalin, the Mayor of Akmola Region. In his address to the President, Mr. Tolukpayev noted the importance of implementing the project in Akmola Region: “Four years ago, visiting our new Aitas meat processing plant in East Kazakhstan Region, You commissioned to implement the project of the largest poultry farm in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, with a capacity of 50 thousand tons of products per year.
You commissioned - and we have done it! Today, we are ready to launch the first stage of a new poultry farm, which also contributes to the program on the formation of a food belt around Astana.”
Until the end of this year, Makinsk Poultry Farm will have produced about 3,500 tons of products that will be sent to meat processing enterprises of Central, Northern and Eastern Kazakhstan and up to 23% of the produced volume will be delivered to the Southern regions of the country. The main product of the farm is chilled broiler meat.
In the coming months, the packaging equipment will be installed in full. From January 2019, MPF will operate in full automation mode. As the result the KusVkus branded products of the poultry farm will be released in retail.
In 2019, MPF is planning to reach the full design capacity of the first stage, which is 25,000 tons of products per year, and also to start the construction of the second stage.
