Aitas continues to develop the crop-growing business area in East Kazakhstan Region. In 2018, ZASCHITA-UBA LLP produced 20,220 tons of crop products, in 2019 this figure is planned to be increased by 1.5-2-fold. In 2018, the total amount of land managed by the company equaled to 16,200 hectares, which is 30% more compared to 2017. The company plans to increase the amount of arable land to 48,673 ha by 2022, including irrigated 3,000 ha. Also, in 2019, it is planned to take part in the auction for the right to lease land in Ulansky district of East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2018, Aitas decided to expand the sown areas in East Kazakhstan Region from 12,500 to 16,200 hectares, for which acquired additional amount of land. Aitas increased the yield of grain crops by 40% compared to 2017. As a result of the modernization, the fleet of machinery was expanded by 3 New Holland T8.410 tractors, 2 Lexion 770 TT combines, 3 tillage seeders with precision seeding Julia Tronic 24-row, 4 KAMAZ vehicles with three-axle trailers and other equipment.
