Representatives of Aitas Holding briefed the delegates of the akimat headed by the Akim of Akmola region with the operational activities of the poultry farm and also presented their further development plans. Yermek Marzhikpayev, the Akim of Akmola region, gave a number of instructions on the support of anchor enterprises, such as, the Makinsk Poultry Farm, in the field of connecting to the infrastructural facilities.
The year of 2018 was marked with the launch of the first line of the Poultry Farm with the capacity of 25 000 tons. In 2020, it is planned to bring into operation the second line with the same capacity, thus making the enterprise the largest one within the territory of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
Once the second line is launched, overall production capacities of the Poultry Farm will make it possible to satisfy up to 15 % of the Kazakhstani market demand in chicken (in 2017 national consumption of chicken arrived at 341 000 tons), which, in its turn, will lead to the reduction of import to 32.6% against the current level of 50.4%.
