On September 28, 2019, after the opening of the largest poultry farm in Central Asia and Kazakhstan with a capacity of 50,000 tons of chicken meat per year - Makinsk Poultry Farm LLP, 220 of its employees cooked a chicken shashlik, which was 223 meters 65 centimeters long. A judge of the Guinness Book of Records, Ms. Paulina Sapinska, arrived to Makinsk to confirm the new record. A charcoal grill, which, according to the rules, was supposed to be straight, and have no bends, was installed on the main street of Makinsk. Cooking such a shashlik is tedious work.
