On September 28, 2019, after the opening of the largest poultry farm in Central Asia and Kazakhstan with a capacity of 50,000 tons of chicken meat per year - Makinsk Poultry Farm LLP, 220 of its employees cooked a chicken shashlik, which was 223 meters 65 centimeters long. A judge of the Guinness Book of Records, Ms. Paulina Sapinska, arrived to Makinsk to confirm the new record. A charcoal grill, which, according to the rules, was supposed to be straight, and have no bends, was installed on the main street of Makinsk. Cooking such a shashlik is tedious work. At the same time laying a shashlik over 220 meters long on the heated grill at the same time, get it cooked from all sides, and make it edible. 420 kilograms of chicken meat was used to cook this shashlik; more than three thousand people got a chance to try the record shashlik.
